In addition to being a freelance writer, I am a veteran early education/elementary educator with a degree in Child Development and Early Education from Vanderbilt and a Master’s in Education from Harvard University specializing in Risk and Resilience.
I am a certified (PreK-4) teacher with ESL specialization and a master trainer with the Texas Early Childhood Professional Development system.
Below are current staff development offerings for teachers and hands-on presentations for students, but I am always happy to create a presentation that is just right for your school’s needs.
All presentations are aligned with state and national standards and best practices with an emphasis on active learning and critical thinking.
I am also available for reading and math elementary tutoring and high school writing and college essay support sessions.
